Ministerial Decree No. 2001 regarding validation of the Regulation on state inspection and supervision in the sphere of water supply of potable water.

State inspection and supervision in the sphere of water supply of potable water includes: a) inspection of organization of water supply of potable water, management and protection of its sources and systems; b) enforcement of the observance of ecological requirements in the process of distribution, projecting, construction and running of the objects and systems of water supply of potable water, compliance with the established regime of economic and other activities within sanitary belt zones; c) inspection of the state, management and protection of groundwater and surface water used as sources of water supply of potable water; d) enforcement of the compliance with state standards regarding potable water and with methods of control of water supply of potable water.
