Ministerial Decree No. 571 validating the Regulation on public hearing with the participation of non-governmental entities, other organizations and citizens, of issues related to nuclear energy use.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the grounds for and the modalities of public hearing with the participation of non-governmental entities, other organizations and citizens, of issues related to nuclear energy use, including participation of the public of the states that could be affected by transboundary effects of the projected use of nuclear energy. The purpose of public hearing shall be: (a) to inform the public and state bodies concerned of the projected activity in the sphere of nuclear energy use; (b) to study and use of proposals and recommendations of the public during projecting and implementation of design decisions; and (c) to search for mutually acceptable decisions related to reduction of negative environmental impact.
