Ministerial Decree No. 78 validating the Regulation on state registration of wild fauna.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that state register of wild fauna shall contain data and documentation on distribution and spreading, biological state, number, type and intensity of economic management of wild animals permanently or temporarily inhabiting the national territory under natural conditions, semi-captive and captive state, living conditions of the aforesaid wild animals, biotechnical, protective and other arrangements underway. The purpose of state register of wild fauna shall be to provide state bodies and legal persons concerned with the information on the state of wildlife with a view of conservation of biological diversity and reproduction of wild fauna, regulation of number of some species, and also conservation of protected and endangered species recorded in the Red Book of Belarus. State register of wild fauna shall contain the following sections: (a) mammals; (b) birds; (c) reptiles; (d) amphibians; (e) fishes; and (f) invertebrates.
