Abstract
This Ministerial Decree establishes that plant quarantine shall be imposed on edifices, constructions, storage points and processing sites of products subject to quarantine inspection, territory and plots of land pertaining to legal and natural persons, forest land and inhabited areas. The state institution “Chief State on Seed Growing, Quarantine and Plant protection” shall establish the boundaries of quarantine phytosanitary area. The following activities shall be prohibited in quarantine area: (a) to sow infected seeds and planting material of agricultural crops; (b) to use agricultural land subject to quarantine for agricultural production; (c) to store infected produce in the same storage point with pest free produce; (d) to store grain loose infected produce; (e) to use waste containing pests as animal feed; (f) to carry out grazing in the areas subject to quarantine; and (g) to take out in the fields organic fertilizers obtained from the utilization of animal feed and litter infected with pests. Special fund shall be set up for the purpose of data collection, storage, processing and registration in the sphere of plant protection.
