Order No. 232 of the Ministry of Natural resources and Environmental Protection validating the Regulation on the method of calculation of emission of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere from thermal power plants and boiler plants.

This Order establishes the method of calculation of emission of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere from thermal power plants and boiler plants. It shall be compulsory for all legal and natural persons operating on the national territory. Average emission data submitted by enterprises for reporting period (quarter, half year, nine months, year) shall be taken into consideration for the calculation of gross emissions for reporting period. Amount of emissions of carbon dioxide shall depend upon the type and the composition of fuel, burning mode and efficiency of furnace equipment.
