Order No. 85 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection restricting fisheries of the herbivorous fishes in the Lukoml Lake.

The purpose of this Order shall be to restrict fisheries of silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) with a view of improvement of the Lukoml Lake ecosystem. Industrial fisheries and artisanal fishing of silver carp of the length less than 70 cm shall be prohibited and silver carp of the aforesaid size caught as bycatch shall be released into the water body. The facts of bycatch shall be registered in the fishing log. Fisheries shall be prohibited within 1 000 metres from the place of discharge of thermal water by the Lukoml power plant.
