Abstract
The Presidential Decree establishes that the authorization for manufacturing, export, import, storage, wholesale and retail trade of alcoholic drinks (except for vending through public catering facilities) shall be granted exclusively to legal persons. The Presidential Decree consists of 8 Chapters dealing with: (a) general provisions (Chapt. 1); (b) licensing (Chapt. 2); (c) technical requirements for the manufacturing of alcoholic drinks (Chapt. 3); (d) declaration of the output and trade of alcoholic drinks (Chapt. 4); (e) labelling (Chapt. 5); (f) transportation and transit of alcoholic drinks (Chapt. 6); (g) wholesale trade (Chapt. 7); (h) manufacturing of the genuine and traditional alcoholic drinks in the protected areas and biosphere reserves (Chapt. 8). The purpose of the present Presidential Decree shall be to establish the state supervision over the manufacturing and trade of alcoholic drinks, and the suppression of the circulation of adulterated alcoholic drinks and falsified trademarks. The licensing terms and conditions envisage the ownership by the manufacturer of the special purpose equipment. Licence shall be valid for five years.
