Presidential Decree No. 83 amending Presidential Decrees.

Presidential Decree No. 50 On the improvement of timber accounting activities shall be amended to add the following wording: timber harvested on forest fund land, its logging, transportation and sale are subject to registration in the unified state automated information timber accounting system and transactions with it (EGAIS); the procedure for receiving in EGAIS the information is determined by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and must include, among other things, the time intervals for receiving such information on the EGAIS server. This Presidential Decree validates a new wording of the Regulation on Forest Service. This Regulation defines the legal basis for the establishment and operation of the state Forest Service. In its activities, the state Forest Service is guided by the Constitution, the Forest Code, this Regulation, and other legislative acts. State forest protection is carried out by officials who are entrusted with the functions of the state Forest Service. The legal requirements of officials of the state Forest Service to comply with the legislation on the use, protection, conservation and reproduction of forests, on environmental protection are mandatory for all legal entities and natural persons, including individual entrepreneurs. Failure to comply with the legal requirements of officials of the state Forest Service, an encroachment on the life and health of these persons in order to prevent them from fulfilling their official duties, as well as committing other actions that prevent them from fulfilling them, entail liability in accordance with legislative acts.
