Regulation of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection on the issuance of authorization for removal of wild animals, wildlife products, bird eggs and nests from their natural habitats for scientific research, cultural, educational and aesthetic purposes.

This Regulation governs the modalities and terms and conditions of the issuance of authorization for removal of wild animals, wildlife products, bird eggs and nests from their natural habitats for scientific research, cultural, educational and aesthetic purposes. It shall not be applicable to rare, protected and endangered species recorded in the Red Book of Belarus. Removal of the aforesaid species and objects shall be carried out free of charge in accordance with the authorization issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection. Authorization shall be issued by natural and legal (scientific research institutions and organizations, educational institutions, zoological gardens, museums, etc.) persons. Applications shall be submitted to the Ministry by 10 December of the current year. Applications shall contain the following data: (a) full name of the applicant, legal address or place of residence; (b) the purpose of removal; (c) species and number of objects; (d) place of removal; (e) gear and methods of removal; and (f) full name and position of the responsible person.
