Resolution No. 748 of the Council of Ministers validating the State Program “Social Protection” for 2021 – 2025.

One of the priorities of the state policy in the Republic of Belarus is to create conditions for quality development of human potential and ensuring a decent life for the population, including through social protection of the population and the creation of comfortable living conditions. The goal of the State Program is to further improve the provision of social protection of the population and create an accessible living environment. Based on the stated goal, the State Program includes the following subprograms: subprogram 1 “Social services and social support”; subprogram 2 “Accessible living environment for disabled and physically weakened persons.” Achieving this goal shall be carried out by solving the following tasks: subprogram 1: providing social services to citizens in difficult life situations; providing social support; ensuring the needs of citizens for social rehabilitation services; subprogram 2: ensuring accessibility to social infrastructure facilities. The responsible customer of the State Program is the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
Implementation of the State Program envisaged improvement, expansion of public catering network and improvement of nutrition, increase of the number of available sanatorium-resort and healthcare organizations, creation of an accessible environment in retail trade and public catering facilities.
