Resolution No. 99 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating the State Program "Environmental Protection and Sustainable Use of Natural Resources" for 2021–2025.

The goal of the State Program is to ensure environmentally favorable conditions for the life of citizens, environmental protection, conservation and sustainable use of natural resources.
To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks the following actions shall be taken: (a) introduction of modern technologies for hydrometeorological observations, technical reequipment of the state network of hydrometeorological observations; (b) climate change mitigation and adaptation; (c) conservation, restoration and sustainable use of ecological systems; (c) conservation, restoration and sustainable use of wild animals and wild plants, their habitats and growth; (d) ensuring the functioning and development of systems for monitoring the state of the environment; and (e) ensuring rational (sustainable) use of natural resources and environmental protection.
