Abstract
These Regulations lay down rules as regards the establishment of the NWS (New World Screwworm) Steering Committee; the obligation for reporting of suspected presence or diagnostic evidence of the presence of NWS; notification and investigation procedures; control zone and internal quarantine; condition for movement of small stock and livestock; animal movement control points; movement permit and NWS inspection certificate; health inspections; health and safety of persons working with animals; duties of the Belize Agricultural Health Authority; import controls; fees for the provision of services in respect of the issuance of movement permits, health inspection certification, evaluation of biosecurity, and any other service related to the inspection, approval, or registration of establishments under these Regulations; and offences and penalties.
