Abstract
This Act provides for the establishment of the Belize National Tourism Board as a body corporate, defines its functions and powers and provides with respect to its organization and administration. The Board shall, among other things: develop all aspects of the tourist industry of Belize and promote the efficiency of the industry; and foster understanding within Belize of the importance of environmental protection and pollution control and the conservation of natural resources. The Board shall also have regulation-making powers, provided that the Regulations of the Board shall be approved by the Minister.
