Fertilizers and Feeding Stuffs Ordinance, 1973 (No. 21 of 1973).

Every person who sells any article used as fertilizer of soil or as feed for cattle or poultry shall hold an annual licence in accordance with section. Sale of specified items shall be accompanied by a statutory statement made out to the purchaser describing specified characteristics of the product. This statement and the label of the product shall have effect of warranty by the seller in accordance with section 6. Other provisions concern analysis of products by the Analyst appointed by the Minister for the purposes of this Ordinance and fraudulent behaviour. Section 14 specifies regulation making powers of the Minister.
