Abstract
These Regulations implement provisions of the Petroleum Act.
They provide for various aspects relative to the granting of an oil exploration license, an oil prospecting license, or an oil mining lease, in respect of national lands or of alienated lands or of both and for relative contracting between the Government and a contractor. Every application shall be made in writing on the form set out in the First Schedule hereto addressed to the Minister. A license or lease shall not be assigned without the previous consent in writing of the Minister.
