Abstract
This Act makes amendments in the principal Act by inserting COVID-19 in the interpretation of “infectious disease” and “dangerous infectious disease” laid down in sections 67 and 68 of the principal Act; amending Section 82 the principal Act as regards the prescription as penalty a fine for any breach of regulations issued by the Minister; inserting Section 82A regarding the power of the Minister to make regulations for infectious diseases; and amending Section 85 relating to the prescription as penalty a fine for any breach of regulations issued by the Director of Health Services.
