Abstract
This Act makes amendments in the principal Act by inserting Part IXA on vaccines; inserting Section 148A relating to the power of the Director of Health Services to make regulations as regards vaccines, including but not limited to: for the importation of vaccines, monitoring the quality of vaccines authorized for sale in Belize, conducting post-market surveillance of safety and effectiveness of vaccines; inserting Section 168A on the duty to report to the Ministry any severe adverse effects of the vaccine; and inserting Section 168B regarding the duty of vaccination centers to report to the Ministry on the usage of any vaccine administered to the public.
