Abstract
This Act lays down provisions on the appointment, powers and functions of the trade licensing board; application for and fees of trade license; renewal or transfer or license; and the establishment, composition and functions of the National Trade License Appeals Board. It prohibits to carry on any trade within the limits of any licensing district without a license granted by the Board for that district and imposes penalty for this offence. The annual trade licence fee is set by the section 20 trade matrix. For agricultural trades, the fee is based on the area used to process the product.
