Administrative Penalties Regulation (Alta. Reg. 23/2003).

This Regulation contains provisions on administrative penalties under the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act. Section 2 requires administrative penalties to be given in writing and specifies which information they must contain. The Regulation also provides a “Base Penalty Table” for determining the amount of an administrative penalty for each contravention that occurs or continues (sect. 3). The Schedule annexed to the Regulation indicates which are the provisions in respect of which an administrative penalty is payable.
