Abstract
The present Order is made under the Agricultural Products Marketing Act. The Order grants the authority to the Commodity Board (Alberta Pork Producers Development Corporation) and the Council (Alberta Agricultural Products Marketing Council) to regulate the marketing in interprovincial and export trade of hogs produced in Alberta. Under section 3, the Council and the Commodity Board are each authorized to regulate the marketing of hogs in interprovincial and export trade and for such purposes may, with respect to persons and property situated within the Province of Alberta, exercise all or any powers like the powers exercisable by it in relation to the marketing of hogs locally within that Province under the related and Act and the Plan.
