Abstract
The present Regulation enforces the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act. In particular, the Regulation establishes an operating Plan for oat producers in Alberta. Section 6 lists the purposes of the afore-mentioned Plan, such as to assist, educate and inform producers, dealers and others in developing and improving methods regarding the production and processing of wheat. Section 7 establishes a Commission with the name“ Alberta Oat Growers Commission”. The text consists of 41 sections divided into 4 Parts as follows: General operation of Plan (1); Governance of plan (2);Voting and election (3);Transitional provisions, review and repeal (4).

The present Regulation enters into force on 1 August 2012. For the purpose of ensuring its revision, this Regulation expires on 31 July 2017.
