Abstract
This Regulation consists of 23 sections and addresses several issues related to hog production. The responsible institution is indicated in the Alberta Pork Producers' Development Corporation, which grants lincences and provides for the registration of farms that produce hogs. Lincences are of three types (assembler of hogs, transporter of hogs and buyer of hogs), expire every year and are not transferable. Producers have to pay a service charge to the Corporation for every hog sold (sec.17).
Entry into force notes
For the purpose of ensuring its revision, this Regulation expires on 30 September 2017.
