Abstract
The present Regulation enacts sections 1, 14, 25 and 31 of the Bee Act. Section 2 establishes that for the purpose of section 14 of the above-mentioned Act and subject to subsection (2), infected bees may be destroyed by asphyxiation and infected equipment may be destroyed by fire. Except where the owner consents to their immediate destruction, bees or beehive equipment located in an apiary shall not be destroyed before the expiration of 2 days after the date on which notice of intention to destroy the bees or equipment is delivered to the owner of the apiary.
