Abstract
The present Regulation enacts section 46 of the Water Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the safety of dams. The text consists of 12 sections as follows: Definitions (1); Application (2); Operation and maintenance of a dam (3); Alteration of a dam (4); Inspection (5); Reporting (6); Dam safety review (7); Hazardous conditions at a dam (8); Suspension of normal operation or removal of a dam (9); Information and evaluation (10); Instrumentation (11); Expert opinion (12). Two Schedules are enclosed.
