Abstract
The present Regulations enact paragraph 59(k)a of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act. The Regulations apply where an assessment of the environmental effects of a project has not been completed before the coming into force of these Regulations. The text – consisting of 32 sections – deals with the following matters: screening, model class screening report, course of action, comprehensive study, review panel, previous assessment, termination of assessment, public registries and coming into force.
