Abstract
The present Regulations are made under the Nuclear Safety and Control Act (S.C. 1997, c. 9). In particular, the Regulations set out the licence application requirements in respect of class I facilities, including general requirement, licence to prepare site, licence to construct, licence to operate, licence to decommission, licence to abandon. The text – consisting of 15 sections – deal with the following aspects: licence application, certification of persons, records to be kept and retained and coming into force.
