Contaminated Sites Protocols Adoption Regulations (N.S. Reg. 17/2017).

The present Regulations are made under the Environment Act. In particular, the Protocols developed by the Department of Environment, as amended, are adopted by the Minister of Environment under clause 8A(1)(c) of the Environment Act as standards for the remediation of contaminated sites. Section 3 establishes that the Protocols adopted by these Regulations must be available to the public, clearly identifying amendments and effective dates, The text consists of 3 sections.
