Abstract
The present Regulations enact the Wildlife Act. The Regulations lay down provisions relating to the hunting of deer in general. In particular, section 3 establishes various types of licence and fees and section 5 lists deer management zones. The text – consisting of 24 sections – deals, amongst others, with the following aspects: special open season for bow hunting deer, general open season for hunting deer, special youth season for hunting deer, tagging deer, storage permits, information return, terms and conditions of licence, deer registration stations and agents, stamp or seal issued for deer registration station, registering deer, prohibitions on registration, deer registration programme, proof of registration and unregistered deer. One Schedule is enclosed.
