Abstract
The present Regulation implements the Ecological Reserves Act (Chapter E5). Section 1 establishes that the Minister shall give notice of the location and boundaries of an ecological reserve by one or more of the following methods: a) the posting of signs at least 30 centimeters square in area, on or along the boundary of the reserve, facing away from the reserve, at intervals of not more than 200 meters, and showing the words: "Ecological Reserve;" b) the publication of the location and boundaries of a reserve in The Manitoba Gazette; c) having a natural resource officer give written or oral notice of the location of a reserve to persons affected or likely to be affected by the existence of a reserve.
