Abstract
This Act is divided into 7 parts as follows: Definitions and application (1); Approval (2); Pre-expropriation procedures (3); Expropriation (4); Compensation procedures (5); Basis for compensation (6); General (7).
This Act regulates land expropriation by an "expropriating authority", defined as a person, including the government, empowered under an enactment to expropriate land (sect. 1).
