Abstract
The present Regulations enact the Fisheries and Coastal Resources Act. The Regulations lay down provisions relating to licences for fish buyers. Section 5 establishes that an application for a buyer’s licence shall be made to the Minister on a form supplied by the Department. The text – consisting of 19 sections - deals with the following aspects: licence form and fees, licence issue, licence transfer, licence expiry, licence conditions, request for additional information, amendment, renewal or cancellation at licence holder’s request, requirement of licence holder, designated buyers, carry and produce licence and prohibitions. One Schedule is enclosed.
