Abstract
The present Act lays down provisions relating to the inspection of establishments handling fish and the issuing of licences. For the purpose of the present Act "fish" means any fish, including shell fish and crustaceans, and aquatic animals, and any parts, products or by-products of them. The text consists of 10 sections as follows: Definitions (1); Minister (2); Staff (3); Federal officers (4); Issuing of licences (5); Powers of inspectors (6); Appeal (7); Seizure, detention and disposal of fish and containers (8); Offences and penalties (9); Power to make regulations (10).
