Abstract
This Regulation covers the harvesting and management of mariculture. It is divided up into 7 parts as follows: Part 1 - Fees; Part 2 - Harvesting and Processing of Marine Plants; Part 3 - Culture and Harvesting of Shellfish; Part 4 - Sport Caught Fish Inspection; Part 5 - Licence to Operate a Fish Buying Station; Part 6 - Fisherman's Vending Licence; Part 7 - Licensee's Record Requirements and Schedule IV - Licence Fees; Schedule V containing a table regarding fish landing summary, and an example of a landing station shipping certificate; Schedule VI - Repealed. Under part 4, "sport caught fish" means fish that is not intended for or used for sale or barter. All sport caught fish, either frozen or canned or in the process of being frozen or canned, shall be subject to inspection by an inspector and every can of sport caught fish packed in an operator's establishment shall be embossed with code markings.
