French Mill Brook Watershed Protected Water Area Regulations, NS Reg 214/2007.

The present Regulations provide for the discipline of the French Mill Brook Watershed Protected Water Area; they prohibit the release of substances these include oil, petroleum products, soap, detergent, toxic chemicals, pest control product waste, garbage, litter, solid or liquid waste, or any other material that causes or may cause an adverse effect in the Protected Water Area; require soil erosions and sediment control measures; list prohibited activities, such as construction of landfill and pasture activities, and restricted activities such as fishing. Other activities limited and controlled under these regulations are: activities that may cause water course or wetland alterations, such as bridges; forestry operations; gravel and mineral excavation, etc.
