Abstract
This Act regulates the keeping of fur farms which are defined as places in which "two or more fur bearing animals are kept in captivity". Fur bearing animals include all wild animals kept in captivity and used for commercial purposes, except those animals excluded by regulation (sect. 1). The Act prescribes licence terms, inspection procedures, offences and penalties.
