Abstract
The Regulation aims to control gasoline vapours at various facilities to reduce environmental pollution. Facilities covered are: service stations, bulk plants, terminals, and cargo tankers in the Lower Fraser Valley. Under this Regulation Facilities are required to install vapour control systems to minimize gasoline vapour emissions during the transfer of gasoline. Provisions for exemptions exist for certain facilities based on their operation start dates, gasoline dispensation volumes, and storage capacities. The Regulation also mandates compliance with the vapour control requirements by specific dates, and penalties are also indicated. .
