Abstract
The present Regulations enact the Wildlife Act. The Regulations lay down provisions relating to wildlife issues in general. In particular, section 2 establishes that no person shall hunt other harvestable wildlife unless the person is the holder of a valid base licence. The text – consisting of 16 sections – deals with the following aspects: harvestable wildlife, base licence, replacement licence, Wildlife Resources Card, conservation officers, nuisance control, captive wildlife, falconry permit, falconry breeding permit, import and export of wildlife, transporting wildlife, sale or purchase of wildlife, conveyance, hours of hunting, accidental killing and storage permit. One Schedule is enclosed
