Abstract
This Regulation consists of 40 sections divided into 2 Parts. Under Part 1, negotiation, the Broiler Hatching Eggs Negotiating Agency is continued. The Agency is composed of at least 4 persons, 2 nominated by the Alberta Hatching Egg Producers (the "Board") and 2 nominated by the Alberta Poultry Hatchery Association (the "Association"). Matters that are not resolved by the negotiating agency can be referred to an arbitration board either by unanimous decision of the members of the agency or by one of the party. Part 3 regulates the appointment of the arbitration board, its operation and states that the decision of the board is final and binding on the Board and the Association, every registered producer, and every hatchery that purchases the regulated product (sec.34).
Entry into force notes
For the purpose of ensuring its revision, this Regulation expires on 31 May 2009.
