Abstract
The present Regulation enacts the Waste Reduction and Prevention Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to a household hazardous material and prescribed material stewardship programme. The text – consisting of 21 sections – deals with the following aspects: designation of material, prohibitions, application for approval, issuance of approval, procedure for refusal of approval, cancellation in certain circumstances, implementation and operation of plan, reports and confidentiality and general provisions. One Schedule is enclosed.
