Abstract
Section 2 establishes the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia as a corporation without share capital and consists of a board of directors appointed under this Act. The purposes of the Authority are to: a) manage, operate and maintain the land title and survey systems of British Columbia; b) facilitate the execution of Crown grants, and c) carry on other necessary or advisable activities related to land title or survey systems. The text consists of 173 sections divided into 8 Parts as follows: Definitions (1); Authority established (2); Governance of authority (3); Conflict of interest (4); Officers and employees (5); Financial administration (6); General (7); Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments (8).
