Abstract
These Regulations lay down the discipline of suspension of hunting licence and permit after conviction for a specific offence; the suspension will be of 2 years for an offence listed under section 3 (these include hunting or trapping in area closed for wildlife management purposes; hunting or fishing without valid licence or permit; hunting while disqualified because of a hunting accident; hunting wildlife during closed season; exceeding bag limit or possession limit prescribed for wildlife; etc.) and of 5 years for an offence under section 68 of the Wildlife Act (hunting with light). The Regulations also consider the situation where a person is convicted while suspended, resulting in a further suspension, and suspension for multiple offences.
