Abstract
The present Regulations are made under the National Energy Board Act (RSC 1985, c. N-7). The Board regulates pipelines, energy development and trade in the Canadian public interest. The Regulations lay down provisions relating to the Boards’ rules of practices and procedures and their purpose is to provide applicants with a clear definition of the Board’s expectations for complete filings. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the National Energy Board’s rules of practices and procedures. The text consists of 56 sections divided into 5 Parts as follows: General (I); Public hearing (II); Applications for review or rehearing (III); Plan, profile and book of reference of a pipeline or an international or inter-provincial power line (IV); Right of entry to lands (V); One Schedule is enclosed.
