Abstract
The present Regulation enforces the Environmental Protection Act (R.S.O. 1990, c. E.19). In particular, the Regulation governs the discharge, making, use, sale, transfer, display, transport, store and disposal of ozone-depleting substances and other halocarbons in Ontario. The Regulation consists of 43 sections divided into 7 Parts as follows: Interpretation (II); Class 1 ozone depleting substances (II); Solvents and sterilants (III); Fire extinguishing equipment and halons (IV); Refrigerants (V); Disposal, transport and transfer of ozone depleting substances or halocarbons (VI); Revocations and commencement (VII).
