Abstract
The present Regulations enact the Environment Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the management of hazardous substances and hazardous waste. Section 3 establishes that PCB liquids, PCB solids, and PCB substances are designated as dangerous goods; and PCB waste is designated as waste dangerous goods. The text – consisting of 16 sections – deal with the following aspects: access to site, location of site, authorization to enter a site, storage site, maintenance and inspection, labelling requirements, maintenance of books and records and reporting requirements.
Entry into force notes
The present Regulations enter into force on 11 April 1995.
