Abstract
The present Act lays down provisions relating to the marketing of petroleum. There is hereby created a corporation with the name of “Alberta Petroleum Marketing Commission” that shall consist of not more than 3 members appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council. Part 2 deals with marketing of the Crown’s Royalty share of crude oil. To this end, the Commission shall: a) accept delivery within Alberta of the Crown’s royalty share of the crude oil recovered pursuant to an agreement; and b) sell the Crown’s royalty share of crude oil at a price that is in the public interest of Alberta. The text consists of 19 sections.
