Abstract
The present Regulations enforce the Fisheries Act (R.S.C. 1985, c. F-14). Section 4 defines the term “deleterious substance” and section 5 fixes the authorized threshold values of such substances. The text – consisting of 13 sections – deals with the following aspects: application, substances prescribed as deleterious substances, authorized deposit of a deleterious substance, additional conditions of authorization, method of collecting composite samples, frequency of sampling and analysis, flow measurement, calculation of actual deposit, reporting and records.
