Recycling Regulation (B.C. Reg. 449/2004)

The present Regulation enacts the Environmental Management Act. The Regulation lays down provisions relating to recycling. Section 1 contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms employed therein such as “collection facility”, “producer”, “product”, “product category”, “recovery rate”. The text consists of 18 sections divided into 4 Parts as follows: Definitions and application (1); Product stewardship plans (2); Product stewardship programme requirements if no product stewardship plan (3); General (4). Four Schedules are enclosed.
