Abstract
The present Regulations are made under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the protection of the population from lead smelters. Section 3 establishes that the concentration of particulate matter that the owner or operator of a secondary lead smelter releases into the ambient air shall not exceed the amount listed in this section. The text consists of 15 sections and 2 Schedules.
