Abstract
These Regulations, made under section 17 of the Protected Areas Act, set out particulars and details concerning the protection of the mentioned protected area. The Regulations define the following relevant terms: extractive use; heritage resources; indigenous organisations; protected area permit; management plan. The Regulations establish the Ts’udé Nilįné Tuyeta Territorial protected area, its management board, and specify the activities authorised by a specific permit: as the extractive uses necessary for the community purposes, the construction of permanent structures, the establishment or maintenance of a garden, a low-impact small scale renewable energy equipment, research activities, harvesting of firewood or timber. The Regulations concern: application for a protected area permit; preparation of the management plan for the protected area; transportation or transmission corridor; exercise of Aboriginal or treaty right in respect of prohibited use or activity.
