Abstract
This Regulation provides the administrative and procedural framework for the management, protection, and regulation of wildlife and fish in British Columbia. The regulation addresses licensing, hunting, angling, transport, commercial activities, exemptions, penalties, and reporting requirements. It establishes rules for authorizations, documentation, and the movement of wildlife and wildlife products, including provisions for captive wildlife, commercial vendors, and minimum hunting ages.
Requirements for permits and documentation for import, export, and transport of wildlife, as well as enforcement and penalty mechanisms, are set out in the regulation. Exemptions for certain activities, such as captive breeding and commercial transactions, are subject to specific conditions and oversight. These measures regulate trade, prevent unauthorized movement, and support conservation of wildlife species through administrative controls and enforcement measures.
